Ordering & Despatch
We only despatch on two days per week. These are Tuesday and Thursday, to arrive with you the following day.

Non-UK Mainland Delivery Charges
Please note the delivery charge of £10.00 covers UK mainland only. Delivery to non-UK mainland destinations incur the following charge:
N.IRELAND/ ISLE OF MAN/ SCOTTISH ISLANDS/ISLES OF SCILLY £15.00
EIRE/CHANNEL ISLANDS £ 25.00
We regret that we are unable to send goods beyond the UK/EIRE

Delivery
All orders are sent by overnight courier. They will be advised to 'leave safe' if there is nobody in to sign for the goods. If you have particular delivery instructions or would not like your order to be left without a signature, please advise at the time of ordering in the box provided on the checkout page.

Where it is possible we would advise taking delivery at a business premises where someone will be available throughout working hours though it is also possible to send goods to a neighbour. Please note we can only accept one delivery address.

We cannot accept responsibility for addresses provided incorrectly.
Please note it is a requirement of the courier company that we must have the telephone number at the delivery address.

Unless you are contacted by us, your goods will be despatched on the agreed date and could be delivered any time up until 6pm. Please note that we cannot track the exact location of your order during the day and will only be notified by the couriers if there is a problem. We cannot estimate a delivery time and it may occur any time up until 6pm.

Complaints Procedure
It is your responsibility to check your order carefully immediately on receipt of goods. In the unlikely event of goods being unsatisfactory, damaged or incomplete please accept delivery and then contact us within 2 working days.

Nuts
All of our products are produced in nut environments and could possibly be contaminated with nuts.

Cancellations and Returns
As our products are supplied fresh and produced to order, we regret that once an order is placed it is not possible to cancel it and refunds cannot be given. Consequently credit card authorisation and payment will be taken upon placement of orders. In the unlikely event of a product being unsatisfactory, please contact us immediately. Do not return goods without first speaking to us.

Supplier Capacity
Our suppliers are small-scale, independent producers; therefore all products are subject to availability. In the event of a product being temporarily unavailable, we will forward your main order, followed by the rest of your order as soon as possible. There will be no extra charge for this service. If, for reasons beyond our control, a product is unobtainable we will contact you to arrange an alternative or refund as soon as possible.

Corporate Gifts
If you wish to place a corporate order to send the same goods to a large number of recipients please call for a special quotation.

Catalogue Accuracy
Every care has been taken to ensure that all prices and descriptions in our catalogue are correct. In the case of error you will be given the opportunity to cancel your order. We apologise if this is the case. We have identified where possible products which contain nuts, however we would advise customers with nut allergies to check the manufacturer's label.

Privacy Policy
Apart from using your personal information to process any orders you may place, if you provide the Metfield Bakery with an email address, it will automatically be entered into our regular email update service. From time to time, we may also contact you by post with information on special offers or events regarding our products or services or those of trusted third parties that we think you may be interested in. If you do not wish to receive updates or marketing information, please contact us.
